5 things you want to know about non-laser tattoo removal
Updated: Jul 1

For as long as most of us can recall, laser tattoo removal has been the only option of getting the ink out of some poor choices or poor artwork - or both, lol. Non-laser tattoo removal is coming across the market by storm to disrupt that system and offer another - better - alternative. I know, I know there are so many questions. I'll be making a few posts to discuss the how and why and all the FAQs in-between. There are some pretty common questions though, and these are the top five.
1. Can non-laser tattoo removal get the ink out of my colored tattoo: blues, greens, yellow?
Fortunately, this process and the serums/ingredients used are color-blind. Unlike laser tattoo removal gettin the ink out with non-laser tattoo removal isn't limited by pigment shade or concentration. So, the short answer is YES.
2. My tattoo is 18 years old. Does non-laser tattoo removal help with old tattoos?
Actually, the older the tattoo the better. This isn't to say that newer tattoos have a problem with this procedure, it's just generally faster and easier as the tattoo ages.
3. What if I already had a few laser tattoo removals, can I still try this? They hurt like a sonova and I'd like to try something different.
For sure. A lot of clients start with laser tattoo removal and either find themselves 'over it' due to the pain, the number of sessions, the expense, the extended healing time or all four. This, in fact, is a great pre-empt to non-laser tattoo removal. Often the hard to reach bits for laser are easy to remove bits for this sytem. You'll need to have fully healed from your last session though.
4. I really want this thing gone, how many sessions do I need?
I wish there were an easy answer here, but there isn't. Single sessions are useful for clients who've already had some laser tattoo removal or a series of non-laser tattoo removal sessions and maybe just need one or two more. Single sessions are okay for clients who may have very tiny, superficial, faded or old tattoos. Generally though, you'll want to start with a package of three sessions. After your three sessions we will reassess and see if you need another three or a single or two. We like to suggest that most tattoos will take between 3 and 8 sessions.
5. How much does it cost?
If you head on over to the pricing page youcan see all the pricing but (at the time this was written so it may be different now)... it's $175 for a single session and $450 for a package of three sessions.
Getting the ink out with non-laser tattoo is a simple process with simple ingredients and pretty much everyone in my chair wonders, 'why didn't anyone think of this before?' lol. Well, who knows. But, here we are. I'm sure you have more questions so do check out the other short posts in this section and if you can't find what you're looking for, reach out to me at the link below.
