Peels - you want these!

The use of low Ph solutions to help with almost all skin issues.

What is this?

As a method of exfoliation, a low Ph solution of either AHAs, BHAs, TCA or specific blends of each and others is applied to the skin to create a resurfacing. Chemical peels (Don’t be afraid of these words, they aren’t as scary as they seem.) are one of the best forms of non-mechanical exfoliation or resurfacing. Using solutions with varying levels of acidity on the pH scale, peels range from superficial or light to medium to deep. Your tolerance level for downtime will be one of the determining factors in deciding which solution to use, as will your goals for your skin and your skin type. We stick to high-strength medium depth peels at the most. Chemical peels treat wrinkles, fine lines, discolored skin, hyperpigmentaion, melasma, acne, acne scars, textural issues, porosity... pretty much all the things. This is not a joke. And, it's okay to be a late adopter, lol. We have glycolic, mandelic, salicylic, lactic, TCA, Jessner and the Red Carpet. These can be applied as superficial peels in a series with little to no flaking or peeling. These can also be applied as a one-and-done high-strength medium depth peel that peels sigificantly over a number of days. We'll decide together, based on the needs of your skin and your tolerance for downtime, which is the best course of action. One of the reasons we love the peel approach is that the excellent degree of clinical efficacy makes peels indispensable as one of the most cost effective treatments for getting noticeable results. (Who wrote that? Ew! Let's try that again...) Peels freaking work. They're not expensive. We LOVE them! (Ahhhh. Much better!) Wanna hear a secret? Peels paired with microneedling with stem cell growth factors are the absolute favorite around here!
